With schools set to open in less than a month, the Department of Education urged students and parents to take part in the Brigada Eskwela school repair-cleaning program.
This year’s Brigada Eskwela will be held from May 19 to 24, in time for the opening of classes in the elementary and high school levels on June 2.
The repair and cleaning will focus on school’s chairs and desks, blackboards, windows, doors, and comfort rooms.
Earlier, the DepEd said School Year 2014-2015 will start on June 2 and end March 27, 2015. The school year will have 201 school days. — Joel Locsin/DVM, GMA News
