GMA News’ “I M Ready” said that while the forecast maximum temperature for Metro Manila is 35 degrees Celsius, the “init factor” may make it feel like 40º C.
It added the 40-degree Celsius temperature could be felt at about 2 p.m.
Temperatures in Metro Manila may ease to 29º C but feel like 34 degrees Celsius at 8 p.m.
However, temperatures could be hotter in other parts of Luzon, including:
– 43 degrees Celsius in Echague, Isabela
– 42 degrees Celsius in Dagupan, Pangasinan
– 41 degrees Celsius in Tuguegarao, Cagayan
Elsewhere in the country, “I M Ready” said the init factor may mean temperatures in the mid- to high-30s in parts of Mindanao, including:
– 37º C in Cotabato
– 37º C in Davao
– 37º C in Cagayan de Oro
– 36º C in Dipolog
– 36º C in Surigao
– 35º C in Nabunturan
– 35º C in General Santos City
– 33º C in Jolo
– 32º C in Zamboanga
