JASMINE Curtis-Smith claims that relations are fine between her older sister, Anne Curtis, and rumored boyfriend Sam Concepcion.
Last month, it was reported that Anne and Sam had a minor argument during the birthday party of comedian Vice Ganda in Makati City. Anne allegedly called Sam “not classy enough” to be at the said party and even made fun of his car.
Anne denied the incident but Sam confirmed the “slight confrontation”, which he said had been ironed out immediately.
In an interview with Jasmine at the grand press launch of her self-titled series produced and created by TV5, the actress shared that open communication played a big part in settling the differences between parties.
The 20-year-old actress said that she did talk to Sam and Anne about the reported incident and the two were open to her. Both parties have told their stories and eventually things turned out okay, she said.
“I was very calm about the situation. I’m usually the type of person who usually panics the first red signal. Thankfully, I have both of them to relax my nerves and kausapin ako agad para hindi ako matranta agad or mag-isip ng kung ano-ano,” she said.
“I was assured that it will come to a good end. Naiintindihan nilang pareho na nasa gitna ako. Kahit na sabihin nating hindi ako involved sa kung ano mang nangyari, kahit papaano it passes through me. They were both very understanding of that and they relay their own messsages para hindi ako lost,” she added.
The actress said it was an emotional week for her as her mother was going back to Australia and she was celebrating her birthday.
She said she was thankful that both Sam and Anne were both kind enough to end their misunderstanding.
“Gusto ko na kausapin yung isa and liwanagin din yung issue sa kabila, gusto ko na maintindihan sila pareho kasi pareho silang nasa buhay ko. Pareho silang importante sa buhay ko at ayaw ko na namimili ng isa,” she said.
“It’s a very private incident na naging public lang when it came out. Whatever went down, we discussed it and okay na siya,” she added.
Jasmine shared the incident did not affect her relationship with Sam. She said she remained close and dear to the singer-actor.
“Okay naman kami. Pareho naman kaming masipag na magkaroon ng oras para sa isa’t isa. Pareho kaming mag show kaya mahirap and kung may free time lang talaga or kung Sundays lang,” she added.
