A thunderstorm brought floods to parts of Metro Manila Saturday evening.
State weather agency PAGASA said the thunderstorm also affected parts of Tarlac (San Jose and Tibag) and Nueva Ecija.
The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority posted on Twitter some areas affected by floods, including:
- as of 5:20 p.m.: EDSA Tramo southbound, gutter-deep but passable to vehicles
- as of 6:11 p.m.: Taft Avenue, Manila, north and southbound, gutter-deep but passable to all types of vehicles
- as of 6:18 p.m.: Quezon Avenue Biak na Bato westbound, gutter-deep but passable to all types of vehicles
- as of 6:51 p.m.: Pureza-Ramon Magsaysay Boulevard eastbound, half-tire, not passable to light vehicles.
