MANILA, Philippines – The peso slipped against the dollar midday Friday, settling at 44.921 from the previous day’s 44.87.
Total volume transacted at the Philippine Dealing System amounted to $326.4 million in the morning, lower than the $401.9 million posted the same period on Thursday.
The peso opened Friday at 44.9.
