Vina Morales shared she enjoys being a single mother to her daughter, Ceana, but still wishes to find her life-long partner.
In a recent interview, Vina said maybe this is not the right time yet to be in a relationship and her focus remains with her kid.
She dated someone for a while but things did not end up well.
“Gusto ko din i-prioritize iyon [love life] but it just so happened na wala pa akong nakikitang I can end up with. It will happen. God knows that I’m really praying for that. I know He will give it to me. I just don’t know when but I’m very patient,” she said.
Morales said she is just more cautious when it comes to the matters of the heart because she had been through a lot. She wants her next relationship to be Christ-centered.
“I’ve gone through a lot. Ayaw ko na. So gusto ko yung galing na sa Kanya, kasi ayaw ko na ng sakit ng ulo,” she said.
“Kapag matagal ka ng single, parang nasasanay ka na, probably you get used to it. You get stronger, na parang even without a love life, you are strong already. I’m hoping and praying na sana dumating naman yung right person.”
When asked about her daughter, the singer-actress said her child also wants her to find someone whom she can spend the rest of her life. She said Ceana is excited to have siblings.
“Minsan matatawa ka na lang, she has so many questions. Minsan hindi ko alam isasagot ko, but you have to be ready for that. She wants to have a baby brother and sister already. Pinagpi-pray din niya. I’m really hoping, being a single mom, I have to be strong for my daughter,” she said.
Morales will be seen in “Bonifacio: Ang Unang Pangulo,” an official entry in this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival. She will star opposite Rommel Padilla, Jasmine Curtis-Smith, Daniel Padilla and Robin Padilla. (MNS)
