Enchong Dee said he never thought of leaving ABS-CBN even if he had to wait for a year before he was given another show.
Dee stars in the “Wansapanataym” miniseries “My Kung Fu Chinito,” which also stars Richard Yap.
Dee said he will always remain a Kapamilya.
“Hindi naman nawawala ‘yung offer [from ibang networks]. There will always be offers kasi siyempre hindi lang naman tayo iisang kumpanya. Maraming mga kumpanya. Pero it all boils down to kung ano ang mga nagawa kong proyekto, sino ang mga nagtiwala sa akin and nandito lahat sila sa ABS,” he said.
Although it took ABS-CBN a while to come up with his new show, Dee said “My Kung Fu Chinito” was worth the wait.
“Hindi ako napagod maghintay and alam ko naman na kapag naghintay ako, may magandang parating,” he said.
Meanwhile, aside from his new series, Dee said he is looking forward to his first concert next month at the Music Museum.
“Gusto ko siya gawin na hindi lang masabi na nakapag-concert. Malapit siya sa puso ko kasi lahat, sa damit, sa sayaw, sa mga kanta, sa stage, lahat parte ako ng pagde-decide. Ako rin ang nag-produce,” he said.
Among his confirmed guests are John Lloyd Cruz, Bea Alonzo, Gerald Anderson, Rayver Cruz, Enrique Gil, Julia Barretto, Erich Gonzales and many more.
“Ako mismo ang nagbigay sa kanila ng prod. Umabot ako sa point na ako mismo ang nagpapaalam sa production manager ng show para ma-approve kasi sobra talaga akong hands on. Seryoso ako sa concert na ito. Ipapakita ko lahat ng kaya kong gawin,” he said.
Dee’s concert will be held on July 3 and 10. (MNS)
