Zsa Zsa Padilla admitted she could no longer wait to have a grandchild from her daughter Karylle and son-in-law Yael Yuzon.
Padilla said: “Whenever they are ready. I’m trying not to push her because you know, before I got pregnant with Zia, it took me two years before I got pregnant. I know that feeling of just waiting and waiting in frustration.”
Padilla said she sometimes asks Karylle about when she and Yuzon are planning to have a baby.
“I make parinig but most of the time I don’t anymore because I’m just waiting for it to happen,” she said.
Asked if she wants Karylle’s first child to be a boy or a girl, the veteran singer said: “A boy kasi puro kami babae, lahat ng pamangkin ko, I only have one pamangkin na boy so I think we need a boy in the family.”
Padilla said she is even willing to babysit for Karylle. “I will be a spoiler,” she said. “If they are both busy, I can always babysit and I can always do that, I would love to do that.”
Karylle said she and Yuzon are not rushing to have a baby but she is preparing herself in case God blesses them with one.
“I’m preparing myself because that will be a big change. Right now, I’m adjusting to married life and once we’ve moved to our new home, that’s when we’ll really prepare for that,” she said.
Asked how many children they plan to have, Karylle said, “Hindi ko alam, bahala na ang Diyos.” (MNS)
