MANILA (Mabuhay) – Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Secretary Gregory Domingo has decided to delay his resignation until November, Malacanang said Friday.

Deputy presidential spokesperson Abgail Valte said Domingo will stay until after the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Economic Leaders’ Meeting scheduled on November 18 and 19.

“Hopefully, now that he has agreed to delay his departure then ‘yung mga agam-agam po kung magkakaroon ng epekto doon sa mga meetings, sa mga hostings should be put to rest,” said Valte.

Philippines plays host to the APEC meetings this year.

Domingo previously intended to step down on the first week of October to return to the private sector. (MNS)
