MANILA (Mabuhay) -– Enrique Gil is planning to bring Liza Soberano to Paris for her 18th birthday in January.
Gil said Soberano has yet to visit Disneyland and he wants his leading lady to first experience it in Paris.
“Ang plano ko kasi dalahin siya sa Disneyland sa Europe. Dream niya pumunta sa Disneyland. Never pa siya nakapunta. Ako first Disneyland ko sa Paris nung bata ako, so gusto ko ‘yung first Disneyland niya sa Paris din,” he added.
Just like Soberano, Gil said he also wants to spend his birthday with only a few people close to his heart.
“Ganun din kasi ako eh, tuwing birthday ko, hindi rin ako mahilig mag-celebrate ng engrande. Usually gusto ko mag-travel or pumunta sa beach with family. Nung sinabi niya, sabi ko parehas kami. Gusto niya mag-travel, gusto niya pumunta sa Paris. Sasamahan ko siya kung kaya sa schedule. Pinapag-usapan na namin. Kasama ‘yung mom ko naman and sister ko and best friend niya,” he said.
When prodded if their friendship has already leveled up, Gil said: “Malapit na. Sabi niya kapag 18 na siya. Malapit na mag-January so hintayin na natin.”
Although they are not yet officially a couple, Gil said he always tells Soberano how much he loves her.
“Yes, siyempre naman. Sinasabi ko sa kanya diretso. Naniniwala naman talaga ‘yun matagal na. In denial lang siya [kapag nagsasabi ako ng I love you],” he said.
Meanwhile, Gil thanked Soberano for sticking with him especially when he made headlines because of what happened during their flight to London last month.
“Nandoon siya. Nakita naman niya lahat. Basta hindi kami nagsisinungaling,” he said.(MNS)
