MANILA (Mabuhay) — Robin Padilla, who recently turned 46-years old, revealed he and wife Mariel are again on a honeymoon.
Apparently, Mariel’s doctor advised them to try to conceive anew a year after she had undergone dilation and curettage. Robin said it took his wife quite some time before having the procedure done.
“Good news sa akin ‘yun.
He added that he understood what Mariel went through because he saw how devastated she was. He even said that his wife gained much weight due to depression.
He also recalled that during his wife’s depression he deemed himself “a clown” who would always try to make her smile and happy.
With regards to their respective showbiz careers, Robin revealed that they are both going to be very busy. Everyone saw Mariel hosting “Pinoy Big Brother” recently and he said more shows are in the offing for Mariel on ABS-CBN. She just have to rest some more, however.
“Tapusin mo muna pagpa-raspa mo.
As for Robin, he is slated to do a TV show with ABS-CBN according to her manager Betchay Vidanes. He also has a movie in the works which he is excited about.
Robin also celebrated his 46th birthday last Nov. 23 signing a contract with Northern Cement Corporation as their newest brand ambassador.
With regards to this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival, Robin confessed that he would miss it “dearly.” He is happy though that his role in “Nilalang” went to Cesar Montano.
He also considered it an honor that a multi-awarded actor like Cesar replaced him.
(MNS)
