Solenn goes topless: ‘Marriage won’t change me’

Solenn Heussaff (MNS Photo) MANILA (Mabuhay) – – Sexy actress Solenn Heussaff insisted that marriage will not keep her from doing racy photo shoots and other similar projects. “Like I said. Marriage won’t change me,” Heussaff wrote as the caption to a photo she posted to her Instagram account. The intimate shot by Filipino photographer Pat Dy appeared to have been taken while she was preparing for her wedding with Argentinian businessman Nico Bolzico last month in France. Heussaff’s pose — sitting on a floor with her head slightly tilted to the left– is similar to her appearance on the cover of Esquire’s February 2013 issue, where she was proclaimed as the “Sexiest Woman Alive.” Bolzico, who vowed to support Heussaff’s “crazy” endeavors, took his wife’s post in stride. He also gamely posted a topless photo of himself, poking fun at Heussaff’s pose. Heussaff and Bolzico tied the knot last May 27 at the Eglise Notre Dame in Combourg, France after more than four years as a couple. (MNS)

Liza denies getting offer to play Mary Jane in ‘Spider-Man’

Liza Soberano (MNS Photo) Liza Soberano vehemently denied that she recently got an offer from Marvel to play Mary Jane Watson in the upcoming “Spider-Man” movie. Before leaving for Italy, Soberano clarified it was just her fans who suggested the idea. “It’s not really an invitation. I think it was what the fans wanted lang, fans of Marvel. I think one of them is Pinay and parang she tweeted that, parang kung merong magiging Mary Jane Watson, she would want it to be me. All my fans started retweeting it and everything but wala naman po talagang invitation,” she said. However, Soberano said she would feel honored if she does get an offer. “[Kung meron], I would love that. That would be a nice opportunity,” she said. She also has the support of her rumored boyfriend, actor Enrique Gil. “If it is a good opportunity para sa kanya, go na go ako. Tamang tama dahil ‘yung mom niya, favorite superhero si Spider-Man,” he said. Soberano is undeniably one of the prettiest faces on primetime TV today. BuCor Director General Ricardo Rainier Cruz III admitted that after 35 raids since Oplan Galugad was launched in 2015, authorities still confiscate various contraband items from NBP inmates. He said additional manpower is needed to stamp out the continuing gun running and illegal drug trade inside the country’s largest prison facility. “Maganda po iyun. Kailangan po talaga natin ng karagdagang manpower para maparami po talaga iyung guwardya, para mabantayan po talaga ng maayos ang Bilibid,” Cruz said. At the same time, Cruz claimed that despite the persistent illegal activities at the NBP, authorities were able to cut down the influence of detained drug lords who had overseen the reported manufacture of drugs inside Bilibid. “Iyung dating powers nila na makapagbenta ng marami, hindi na ganoon. Namo-monitor na rin kasi ng ibang agencies iyung galaw ng drugs ngayon,” he said. Incoming Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre II said that he has secured the help of incoming Philippine National Police chief Ronald dela Rosa who promised to detail 1,000 SAF troopers at the NBP.
