Ruffa Gutierrez speaks about Annabelle Rama, new boyfriend

Ruffa Gutierrez (MNS Photo) RUFFA Gutierrez said all is well now between her and mother Annabelle Rama. Gutierrez said she believed that her mother did not mean any harm when the talent manager criticized her new relationship with French-Israeli businessman Jordan Mouyal at Rama’s recent birthday party. “She was trying to be sarcastic and funny and napunta sa akin yung usapan. So, nung napunta sa akin hindi ko na nakain yung dessert ko kasi katabi ko yung pinapatamaan niya,” the actress said. Gutierrez said she left the party because she was hurt by what her mother had said. Afterwards, they were able to patch things up. “Na-hurt ako because matanda na ako and pinapahiya pa niya ako. Sana, if ever, control lang… self-control. I don’t know kung mababago pa ‘yun. My mom kasi is so frank, she expresses what she feels for that moment and sooner or later she will regret it,” she added. “We’re okay. She’s always at the house and when I see her I always say ‘hi’. I love her naman even if she fights me. She mellowed na sa lagay na yun ha,” Gutierrez said. The actress said that even though they do not usually see eye to eye on a lot of things, her mother has a big heart. “My mom naman has a good heart. When she loves someone and when she’s loyal to someone, it really shows,” she said. In same interview, Gutierrez said that she and Mouyal are dating for a few Read More …

Mini looks to core range of 5

The 2014 MiniMini is trimming back its range from eight to five models.©Mini (Relaxnews) – BMW has announced that it’s to cut the Mini range down to size in order to focus on five key ‘Superhero’ models. And to give customers even greater levels of care and service. Speaking at an event at BMW’s headquarters in Munich, the Mini brand’s chief, Peter Schwarzenbauer said that the decision was to ensure each new Mini really stands with its own personality and capabilities “Like a superhero.” When BMW resurrected the Mini in 2001 it did so with a single model available in three levels of trim and performance. However, over the past 13 years the range has slowly swollen and there are currently eight different Minis available plus limited edition models. But rather than diluting the brand, the expansion has worked — Mini is enjoying record sales — and has led to some imitation, most notably from Fiat with its equally retro-styled 500 being stretched into a range including a five-door model, a people carrier and most recently, a crossover miniature SUV. Although Schwarzenbauer wouldn’t be drawn on specifics, the cars most likely to get the chop will be the Paceman, the Coupé and the Roadster. Slimming down the range will also give Mini the space to add new levels of customer care and individual service. Bringing a premium touch to the mass market car buying experience is a growing trend. Citroën has recently spun out its DS range as a separate premium Read More …
