MANILA (Mabuhay) — Five months after her wedding, Bossa Nova Queen Sitti launched her album “Singles Bossa Nova Trio.”
“Sobrang saya ko na makapaglabas kami ng bagong album this time, ‘yung compositions ko ang bida sa album na ito,” Sitti told members of the entertainment media during the CD launching.
The singer said her newest CD, with its carrier single “Ligaya,” is the last album she recorded before she tied the knot with Joey Ramirez last May 29.
Sitti admitted that there’s been lot of changes in her life after her wedding but stressed that she still has time for her music.
“I feel deeper, parang mas may kabuluhan lahat, may hugot lahat, mas masaya, mas panatag,” she said.
“What I love about my husband is he still pushes me to work, to sing. So kung mawawala man ako ng ilang linggo for his work ay nakakabawi naman sa singing ko….Whatever I do, he will support [me], [he’s] very supportive,” added Sitti.
Asked when she and her husband will have a baby, the singer said: “Kapag ibinigay ni Lord, go!” (MNS)
