Angelica Panganiban was all praises for her co-stars Dingdong Dantes and Paulo Avelino in the upcoming Star Cinema movie “The Unmarried Wife.”
The film served as the reunion project of Panganiban and Dantes, who was also her leading man in the 2012 movie “One More Try.” The romantic drama earned Dantes the Best Actor trophy at the 38th Metro Manila Film Festival.
From the last time that they worked together, Panganiban noticed how much Dantes has grown as an actor.
“Ang laki ng difference ngayon ni Dingdong. Simula nung una ko siyang nakatrabaho from ‘Segunda Mano’ to ‘One More Try’ and then dito, talagang napapanganga ako sa kanya ngayon kapag umaarte siya. Sobrang flawless nung performance na pinakita niya,” she said.
Asked what she thinks is the reason behind Dantes’ improvement,
Panganiban said: “Ang laki siguro ng naitulong na sobrang tahimik ‘yung buhay niya.
Dantes is married to actress Marian Rivera. They have a daughter, one year old Maria Letizia.
Meanwhile, Panganiban said she is also fortunate to have worked with Avelino for the first time in “The Unmarried Wife.”
The actress said they did not have a hard time breaking the ice. Walang pressure,” she said.
Panganiban teased moviegoers that they can expect some steamy scenes in the film directed by Maryo J. De Los Reyes.
“The Unmarried Wife” is slated for a November 16 release.(MNS)
