The country is likened magnets that lure talented people from many nations of the world with its offer of unmatched opportunities abound for those willing to work hard. Creativity puts no limits anyone entering its gates to achieve their dreams.

The Asian Business Association of Orange County (ABAOC) whose membership represents a tapestry of many cultures from around the world has constantly been at the forefront of a movement to harness the full potentials of its people who have come the represent California’ varied demographics.

Inspiration to others: The secrets of the business success of Twin Eagles Inc., (manufacturer of high-end grilling and barbeque system) run by  Filipino-American entrepreneurs Dante and Fanny Antal, and KCAL Insurance Agency of Kenny Chang, (CEO and Founder), and his daughter, Angela Chang (Chief Strategy Officer), had been shared to the attendees of Asian Business Association of Orange County-sponsored BMW-Procon Business Matchmaking and Procurement Conference at Disney’s Paradise Pier in Anaheim last Sept. 23.

Founded in 1992 as a nonprofits organization to meet the needs of the growing Asian businesses in one of the most populous counties in California with its more than 3 million in 34 cities, ABAOC envisions to provide Asian Americans the opportunity to “gain access to economic advancement by way of networking, education and community representation”.

For decades, ABAOC has led in successfully organizing major events like networking  mixers, outreach programs with the help and support of its sponsors and community affiliates and procurement events, a signature event that has opened business opportunities to its members.

This was accomplished at the BMW-Procon Business Matchmaking Procurement Conference at the Disney Paradise Pier Hotel in Anaheim last September 23rd.  ABAOC was able to do connect its members with top business players in the community.

For many years, this signature event has served as a bridge in facilitating the interaction of various businesses activities in the county.

Small business owners learned of the many needs of at least six businesses for goods and services which were represented in the Supplier Diversity/Purchasing informative talks delivered by Donna Osui of CBS Corporation, Arnice Lamb (Supply Diversity Manager of Walt Disney; Min Kim of California Edison,  and Pia Veesapa of Orange County Transportation Authority

Success in American business is limited only by one’s creativity. The environment has always provided a fertile ground for the determined and the never say die.

Two Southern California companies, against all odds proved that success was possible in all business conditions.

Twin Eagles Inc., manufacturer of high-end grilling/barbeque equipment system and KCAL Insurance Agency which has captured the patronage of more than 85,000 clients has proved that with enough perseverance and dedication, everything will pay off in the end.

Dante’s expertise and knowledge  in residential appliances and expertise on residential appliances and high-performance, commercial cooking equipment, transitioned  him into co-founding a company in 1996 and in 2005, he introduced the Twin Eagles line of products.

Kenny Chang’s, CEO of KCAL Insurance Agency which he founded has succeeded in spite of many obstacles. His present partner in running his business is her daughter, Angela Chang, who serves as the company’s Chief Strategy Officer
