(MNS photo) MANILA  (Mabuhay) – While it welcomes the audit of poll servers sought by Sen. Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., the camp of leading vice-presidential contender and Camarines Sur Rep. Leni Robredo said this should be conducted after the proclamation of the winning candidate. Congress will resume session on May 23, and will convene as the National Board of Canvassers on May 25. The NBOC is mandated to proclaim the new president and vice president. Marcos on Wednesday formally asked the Commission on Elections to let “IT experts and programmers” from his team to conduct an audit of the servers used in the May 9 elections. In a letter filed by his representatives, Marcos said the audit must be done in light of doubts that sprung from the “introduction of a new script” to the transparency server. “The alteration removed the only security feature of the data by causing the Read More …

Willie Revillame (MNS Photo) MANILA (Mabuhay) –Willie Revillame has cleared the issue about them allegedly asking payment from audience members before entering the studio. Reports have it that supposedly, 100 audience members from Taguig were made to pay for studio access by a “Wowowin” staff. According to Willie, there was no such thing. Willie pointed out that it’s the show’s goal to help people and not the other way around. Aalagaan namin kayo, iingatan namin kayo,” he said. Meanwhile, “Wowowin” reached its first year anniversary on May 10. The show has transferred to its new home in GMA Network’s Studio six. However, Duterte, who ruled Davao City with an iron hand for years, said he would respect the opinions of those who are against him, even within the government. “I  may disagree [with] what you say but I will defend your right to say it. We are in a democracy,” he said. Meanwhile, he explained his somewhat uncouth manner of presenting himself in the public during the campaign period, saying Read More …
