City of Carson to host women’s symposium October 25

The City of Carson Women’s Issues Commission will be hosting an educational program to promote the understanding and awareness of women’s issues and social services for women and their families on October 25. The symposium, “Women in the 21st Century”, will run from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Congresswoman Juanita Millender-McDonald Community Center located at 801 E. Carson Street in Carson.

The symposium is open to the public and admission is free.
