DABAWENYOS may now pay their water bills through Land Bank of the Philippines (LandBank) iAccess retail and weAccess institutional internet banking facilities.

This follows the recent agreement signing between the Davao City Water District (DCWD) and LandBank, accrediting the latter as a biller/merchant under the bank’s bills payment service.

The tie-up allows DCWD to offer its clients with a convenient alternative payment channel while also de-clogging traffic in its collection offices. DCWD is LandBank’s first accredited provincial merchant.

“We look forward to having more provincial merchant-partners as we know many of their clients will appreciate this hassle-free payment option,” LandBank president and CEO Gilda E. Pico during the agreement signing at the SMX Convention Center in Davao City.

On behalf of DCWD’s board of directors and acting general manager Edwin V. Regalado, DCWD OIC assistant general manager for administration Mildred G. Aviles thanked LandBank for being the water utility’s partner in addressing the demands of its customers.

Future plans include expanding the partnership to eventually accept payments through LandBank’s ATMs and other available alternative channels, which will provide more payment options for DCWD clients.

LandBank cardholders may enroll in LandBank iAccess by simply logging on to www.lbpiaccess.com or visit the nearest branch.
