MANILA, Philippines- Dimples Romana is three months pregnant with her second child.
“Ang tagal ko na kasi ‘tong hindi naramdaman!” Dimples giddily told philSTAR.com and other media outfits, in an interview on Thursday.
“Ang saya ko kasi nang nagbuntis ako kay Callie bata pa ako, e, matagal na ‘yon, at hindi ko pa alam kung tama ang ginagawa ko.”
She’s expected to give birth in February 2015.
Since her eldest child is a girl, Dimples hopes to have a baby boy this time saying, “kasi si Callie babae, mas close sa daddy. Siyempre gusto ko ma-experience magkaro’n ng anak na lalaki. Pero if it’s not a boy okay sa akin.”
Dimples is not worried that her 10-year-old daughter will be jealous of the latest addition in their family, since she sees Callie excited about the baby.

“Nang nalaman niyang magkaka-baby sabi niya, ‘Mom, can I post it on Instagram na?’ Sabi ko, ‘sige anak, okay na,’ kasi may heartbeat na, ‘yon lang hinihintay ko. ‘yong magka-heartbeat. Alam mo, siguro sa tagal ko mag-compose ng lalagay ko, nauna pa ‘yong post niya,” she relates laughing.
She also adds that “for 10 years ang atensyon namin nasa kanya lang. I would like to believe that we brought her up as a very kind and very understanding person. So lalo na ngayon she’s very excited na.”
Meanwhile, Dimples was present at the “1 Laba Challenge” by Breeze at Brgy. Pilot in Commonwealth, being one of the brand ambassadors. She was joined by other mom-celebrities namely Christine Bersola-Babao and Gladys Reyes.
The challenge aims to wash one million clothes for one day all throughout the country. It will also serve as a treat for moms who do the laundry regularly.
“Nakakatuwa lang isipin na Breeze keeps looking for something to do for the nanay natin na talagang bayani ng mga tahanan natin,” she said.
“So nakakatuwa na naisip nila to give them a day off , libre ang laba nila, and bukod do’n makaka-experience pa sila ng pagpapahinga kahit papaano. They deserve to be treated and be pampered talaga.”
