PALO, LEYTE — The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) in the Eastern Visayas is optimistic about meeting its P6.45-billion target this year as the business sector shows signs of recovery from typhoon Yolanda (international name: Haiyan), with collections in the first two months running ahead of their year-earlier pace.
