EITI compliance effort ‘impressive’ but PHL must get big firms to buy-in

THE PHILIPPINES has a good chance of meeting the compliance requirements of the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI), according to the organization’s chair, Clare Short, who noted that the country’s first report was an “impressive start.”
