A Filipino woman was injured in a blast that rocked Bangkok, Thailand, on Monday night, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said on Tuesday.
“Embassy confirms that one Filipina was injured. She sustained injury to her hearing due to blast,” the DFA said in a statement.
The foreign affairs department said the Filipino woman was in Bangkok with her foreign family and would return to their country soon.
“She requests that her other personal details not be revealed,” the DFA said.
Reports said that among the casualties was a Filipino but according to the DFA, no confirmation was received by the embassy as they continued to verify the information. RC
