MANILA (Mabuhay) -– Gladys Reyes, who is a member of the Iglesia ni Cristo, took to Instagram to share her thoughts about the controversy the religious group is currently facing.
The actress said it took her a while to speak about the matter because she has been busy taping for her series and attending to her other responsibilities.
According to Reyes, she appreciates that her friends and others were not quick to judge when the controversy about INC first came out.
She then urged her fellow INC members to just strengthen their faith in God at this time.
Mas lalo natin pagtibayin ang pundasyon ng ating pananampalataya,” she said.
Reyes then ended her post by saying: “Ako’y Iglesia ni Cristo.. mananatili at maninindigan!!”
Last Thursday, the INC announced the expulsion of Tenny Manalo, widow of former executive minister Erdy Manalo. Tenny’s son, Angel, was also expelled. (MNS)
