After all these years the magic is still there. The qualities that made them standout continue to mesmerize their audience.

It didn’t come as a surprise at all that their fans of yesteryears still come to their concerts especially if one is support of religious causes.

Original Pilipino Music icon Basil Valdez and the sultry Joey Albert teamed anew for a concert of the Friends of Alagad ni Maria Involved in Leading the Youth (FAMILY) last August 27 at the La Mirada Theater for the Performing Arts and endeared their fans once more with their exceptional artistic gifts that took them to “memory lane”.

Aside from their great singing voices the musical icons’ ability to establish genuine connections with their audience made their performance at the “Songs of the Heart 2” appeared like an intimate event.

The talented duo rekindled a longing for the beauty of yesteryears with their songs.

Also featured at the fundraising event were Bishop Kevin Vann, Bishop Joseph Brennan and Fr. Mark Jon L. Cruz, AM.
