Megan Young and Mikael Daez are still reluctant to shed light on the real score between them despite what could be deemed as sweet photos of them that they have been posting online.

Asked about it at the press conference of GMA’s “Conan My Beautician,” Megan said, “Whatever I share online, that’s something very special that I like to share.”

She added, “The videos that we post about our travels, that’s something genuine that we like to share with everyone. Na how we are as people, how we are behind the camera, that’s something we enjoy together. We’re happy that people enjoy watching the videos we post.”

Prodded further on their status, she added, “When it comes to me and my personal life, I try to keep it as private as much as I can because I share so much already as a public personality.”

Megan and Mikael recently went to Japan where they had a “major food trip.” Other places they have been to are Singapore and Thailand.

“Since we’re older now, we can enjoy a place more. Mas na-enjoy namin ang maraming bagay, like food, the drinks, the culture that we experience in these places,” she said.

Do they talk about marriage?

“Right now we’re focused on work. I think that’s what’s more important. There’s a lot going on. And when things happen, they just happen,” she said.

Her contract with Miss World is about to end this year, but she will remain in contact with the organization. As 2013 Miss World, Megan still actively helps and attends various pageant functions. She will leave the country next month for Mister World.

“Kapag may activities sila, they fly me out of the country. Tuloy-tuloy pa din ’yung charity work. We’re planning some great stuff for the end of the year, in terms of charity work. Even after my contract ends with them tuloy tuloy pa din naman ’yung connections ko with them. I think that also goes with other Miss World winners,” she said.

Megan  teams up with Mark Herras on “Conan My Beautician.” It is her first comedy gig.

“It’s a nice change from the usual Mark Herras that we usually see na parang very manly, ladies’ man… on TV, the characters he portray are very masculine. Now that he plays Conan, a straight guy pretending to be gay, pretending to be straight, it’s a challenge for him,” she said. (MNS)
