According to the United States Embassy in Manila, there are over 50,000 immigrant visa applications and more than 11,000 fiancé/fiancée and spouse visa applications each year.

These types of visas are for applicants planning to permanently relocate to the US. On the other hand, there are more than 200,000 applications for nonimmigrant visas annually.
