THE INCOMING Socioeconomic Planning Secretary on Thursday laid out a broad outline of how his agency plans to introduce new metrics to the Philippine Statistics Authority that would cover economic gains distributed across socioeconomic classes and regions, thus helping achieve the next stage of growth — making sure more Filipinos are lifted out of poverty.
