MANILA, Philippines – The peso closed weak against the dollar on Monday, settling at 44.715 from the 44.63 posted on Friday.
Total volume transacted at the Philippine Dealing System amounted to $764.6 million, higher than the $696.4 million posted the previous day.
The peso opened the week at 44.74.
