MANILA, Philippines – The peso slightly improved against the dollar midday Tuesday, settling at 44.636 from the previous day’s 44.69.
Total volume transacted at the Philippine Dealing System amounted to $324.6 million in the morning trade, lower than the $449 million posted in the same period the previous day.
The peso opened Tuesday at 44.64.
