MANILA (Mabuhay) — President Aquino met with executives of Walt Disney International Wednesday morning (Manila time) during his US visit as a participant in the US-ASEAN Summit in Sunnylands, California.

Aquino discussed possible investment opportunities with Andy Bird, Walt Disney chairman, and Jim Flippatos, vice president for global public policy.

Aside from Walt Disney, the President also held meetings with executives of Western Digital Corp. and Enterprise Growth Solutions AECOM.

The meetings were held at the InterContinental Los Angeles Century City.

Aquino is in the US to attend the US-ASEAN Summit in Sunnylands, which is is said to be an informal summit organized by the US that is set to discuss the ASEAN Economic Community, transnational challenges, regional maritime issues as well as any topic that any participant may wish to raise.

The President was joined on this trip by Secretaries Rene Almendras; Herminio Coloma (Presidential Communications Operations Office); Adrian Cristobal (Department of Trade and Industry); Albert del Rosario (Department of Foreign Affairs); and Cesar Purisima (Department of Finance), among others.
