President Benigno Aquino III has already arrived at the Villamor Air Base to personally welcome Pope Francis, who is scheduled to arrive in the country late in the afternoon Thursday.
The Pope, who will be in the Philippines for a five-day state and apostolic visit, is expected to arrive at the Philippines at 5:45 pm.
A fiesta-like welcome awaits him.
