Senate blue ribbon committee chairman Teofisto Guingona III presents Napolist
MANILA (Mabuhay) – The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) on Wednesday submitted digital files of principal pork barrel scam whistleblower Benhur Luy to the Senate.
Government investigators, led by NBI Director Virgilio Mendez, turned over a sealed CD case to Senate blue ribbon committee chairman Teofisto Guingona III on Wednesday afternoon.
The CD contains soft copies of Luy’s digital files, which reportedly identified lawmakers who transacted with alleged scam mastermind Janet Lim Napoles.
The Senate blue ribbon committee earlier issued subpoenas compelling the NBI and Justice Secretary Leila de Lima to submit Luy’s digital files.
The CD’s contents will be released to senators and members of the media, Guingona said. (MNS)
