(Relaxnews) – Watch a Subaru BRZ coupé set a new Guinness World Record for the tightest 360-degree spin.
Set at the Autosport International Show held in Birmingham, UK over the weekend, the car driven by stuntman and holder of numerous driving-related world records Alastair Moffatt managed to spin one complete revolution on its own axis within a gap just 2.25 meters larger than the Subaru itself — a 25cm improvement on the existing record.
“The Subaru BRZ was the perfect car in which to do it; light, highly maneuverable and easy to control. It’s great to have another record to my name,” said Moffatt who held the previous 2.5m record.
The car used for the stunt was a completely ‘stock’ 2-liter rear-wheel drive BRZ albeit one with the traction control and ABS systems disengaged.
