Filipino-American Talents will perform at 4pm at White Memorial SDA Church in Los Angeles
Everyone wants to help – the unimaginable destruction is hard to absorb, unfathomable and unbelievable. But indeed it is the painful truth for our countrymen back in Tacloban/Leyte. Thus, there was an overflowing of support from the Filipino-American Community and various Fil-Am Artists come together to inspire unwavering strength of spirit for those affected by the recent tragedy.
Admission is free, so please bring anyone who is still hurting from this tragedy, and those who continue to worry about their loved ones as this atmosphere of generosity and the power of music may give them hope. Even if you have made donations elsewhere, please come and join in the spirit.
This concert is also held as a thank you to those who have been tirelessly working to aid the victims. Organizations are urged to contact info@musicartsevents or call (818) 322-5018 if attending. We would like to acknowledge your presence and share the progress of your relief efforts as well.
Sharing the message of hope through song are Pete Avendaño, Ivy Violan, Bernardo Bernardo, Louise Marie Cornillez, the Harana Men’s Chorus, Annie Nepomuceno, Erwin Andaya, Mirielle Enriquez, Daryl Ogalino, Lito Villareal, Nilo Alcala & Rasec Ortega, Binhi, Ameen Baghallian and Josie Gonzales.
We shall be receiving monetary donations for ABS-CBN Foundation International, the main beneficiary. You may also opt to donate to the White Memorial Church’s relief fund. In-kind donations will be collected by CFC-Singles for Christ.
“Voices For Hope” is on November 17, Sunday at 4pm. White Memorial SDA Church is located at 1720 E Cesar Chavez Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90033.
