MANILA (Mabuhay) -– KC Concepcion is not too keen about working with her mother Sharon Cuneta on a movie.
“I think it’s too close for comfort to be working with her sa movie project,” she said, noting that she grew up watching her act while on the movie set.
“It would be weird to do a movie with her. Pero we always see each other naman sa mga concert events ng ABS-CBN or something. Wala pa kaming napapag-usapan,” she said.
Concepcion, however, said she is excited to see Cuneta and her father, Gabby Concepcion, in a reunion project.
“Siguro si mom and papa. Manonood pa ako,” she said, laughing.
Cuneta and Concepcion were dubbed as the ‘80s movie power couple with movies like “Dear Heart” and “PS I Love You.” Their fan base grew larger when they eventually became a real-life couple. The two tied the knot in 1984 but their marriage didn’t last long.
Cuneta is now married to former Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan, with whom she has two daughters and a son. (MNS)
