MANILA (Mabuhay) — After playing a mistress in last year’s “Etiquette for Mistresses,” Kim Chiu gets to play another mature role in the upcoming series, “The Story of Us,” which marks her teleserye reunion with Xian Lim.
Although they have appeared in several movies, including the 2015 Metro Manila Film Festival entry, “All You Need is Pagibig,” the two have not made a teleserye together since “Ina Kapatid Anak” in 2012.
Lim revealed that he and Chiu will have a love scene in the series. “This is a much mature role for me and Kim at ‘yun nga po ay mayroon kami dito ‘yung ganoon,” he said.
“It revolves around their love story at paano nila iki-keep ang love na ‘yon kung iba’t ibang priorities ng buhay ay pumasok na sa kanilang mundo,” he said.
Lim also thanked their fans for their continued support.
“Maraming salamat sa lahat ng sumusuporta sa amin (ni Kim) at hindi kayo bumitiw. Ang tagal na two or three years ago ang last namin ni Kim na nakita sa television,” Lim noted.
During the interview, Lim was still obviously in cloud nine after he received positive feedback for his performance in the movie “Everything About Her” with Angel Locsin and Vilma Santos.
That’s why he promises to give his best in the upcoming series.
“Sa lahat po ng project ko ay ibinibigay ko ang buong pagkatao at buong kaluluwa ko, lalo na dito sa susunod na project,” said Lim, who will soon be going abroad to shoot scenes for “The Story of Us.”
Meanwhile, Lim also assured that he and Chiu will find time to celebrate Valentine’s Day.
“I’m sure maski walang oras ay gagawin namin ‘yan. If ever may taping ay gagawan namin ng oras,” he said.
“Malaking bagay kay Kim ang effort. More than a gift gusto niya ay time at talagang just to be with each other,” he revealed.
Asked now the real score of his relationship with Chiu, Lim said: “Ganito lang po: alam naman ni Kim, at alam ng lahat, na mahal na mahal ko siya. Kung pwede po sana ay doon muna po, mahal na mahal ko po si Kim.”(MNS)
