MANILA (Mabuhay) – President Aquino brought up anew his love life – or lack of it – n a speech before a gathering of sari-sari store and carinderia owners who underwent a skills training program.

Aquino jestingly hinted that he may not have the time to raise a family and have children of his own until after he steps down from office.

Aquino was at the women’s month celebration of Coca-Cola and TESDA for the beneficiaries of their Sari-Sari Store Training and Access to Resources (STAR) program that aims to “provide access to skills training, resources, and peer mentoring” to 200,000 women sari-sari store and carinderia owners in the country by 2020.

Baka nakalimutan ho ninyo: I’m Noynoy Aquino. I’m single, and no children.

Aquino lauded the women entrepreneurs for their contribution to the economy.(MNS)
