MANILA, Philippines – A Filipino woman was allegedly sexually harassed by a laboratory technician in India, an online report said.

In a report by the Hindustan Times, the unnamed Filipina, 37, was allegedly sexually harassed by a 35-year old laboratory technician at a hospital where he was working.

The victim was undergoing an X-ray procedure on August 11 when the technician allegedly asked her to undress although removing the clothes was not needed in the procedure, the report said.

The victim reported the incident to hospital authorities and later filed a complaint with the police, the report added.

The police have arrested the suspect while conducting further investigation.
