Celebrity couple Gerald Anderson and Maja Salvador have finally agreed to work together on ABS-CBN’s upcoming show “Give Love On Christmas Presents: Gift of Life.”
This will be the first onscreen pairing for the real-life couple, who have repeatedly said they prefer not to work with each other.
“Masaya kami kasi first time namin na magta-trabaho together tapos para sa Pasko pa. Ito ‘yung Christmas special ng ABS-CBN at Dreamscape para sa Kapuskuhan and may episode kami doon,” Anderson said.
Salvador said she was taken by the story of “The Gift of Life” and couldn’t say no to it.
“Nung in-offer sa amin ay hindi namin matanggihan dahil ang gandang regalo para sa lahat para makapagbigay ng magandang kwento ngayong Pasko,” Salvador said.
Both Anderson and Salvador also see the TV special as a treat to their fans.
“Very exciting para sa mga fans at para sa Pasko pa, it’s my favorite season. Ang hirap talagang tanggihan. I’m excited for the story,” Anderson said.
Salvador said she had always wanted to work with Anderson, even before they became a couple.
“Naging fan din ako nang ginawa niyang trabaho, especially ‘Budoy.’ Kaya nung kinwento ito, eh ano ba ang pakiramdam kung magkatrabaho kaming dalawa. Parang nakaka-excite ang pakiramdam na co-actor ko siya,” she said.
“Ang hirap talagang tumanggi kapag-Pasko.”
