MANILA, Philippines – The peso shed 5 centavos against the dollar of Thursday, closing at 43.71 from the previous day’s 43.66.
Total volume transacted at the Philippine Dealing System amounted to $807.7 million, higher than the $687.6 million posted on Wednesday.
The peso opened Thursday at 43.6.
