MANILA, Philippines – The peso rallied against the dollar midday Tuesday, settling at 44.773 from the previous day’s 44.83.
Total volume transacted at the Philippine Dealing System amounted to $401.9 million in the morning, higher than the $305.3 million posted the same period on Monday.
The peso opened Tuesday at 44.79.
