sipaLOS ANGELES – On Saturday, August 9, 2014, Search to Involve Pilipino Americans will present Kita Tayo sa SIPAPagdiwang ng Pamilyang Pilipino, a special summer event celebrating the Filipino family. Through Kita Tayo sa SIPA, we aim to build and strengthen our community by inviting community partners and businesses to participate in our event. By providing a nurturing space for our youth and families, SIPA hopes to present an enjoyable experience for members of our community.

Kita Tayo sa SIPA (in English, means “See You at SIPA”), is an ongoing series of community events to serve our youth and families. We will have  booths ranging from fun and games, to workshops and presentations about health, family, and intergenerational storytelling. Throughout the event, we will have fun and interactive programs for the children, as well as entertaining and informative programs for adults. Featuring The Music Center, SIPA’s Small Business Program culminating projects, as well as performances from SIPA’s very own hip hop dance group, SIPA Crew, we are excited to invite you to Kita Tayo sa SIPA: Pagdiwang ng Pamilyang Pilipino.
