Over the years, advances in information and communications technology have revolutionized and disrupted the business models of companies, regardless of size. In retail, for example, customers can now place orders online. In manufacturing, production processes can now be monitored through automated systems. In health care, it is now possible to conduct remote diagnosis. In media, new avenues have been developed for distribution and user participation — think user-generated content and social networking. These new models, which are largely characterized by mobility with respect to intangibles, users, and business functions, or use of multi-sided business models, make up for what is now called the Digital Economy.
Chinkee Tan Are you losing your self-confidence? Do your mistakes seem like they won’t ever end? Do you feel like you have no hope in making up for past failures? I have good news for you! If you feel like you can’t do it, that’s just it – a feeling. Feelings are deceiving and it can change. Do you want to know the truth? What is truth is unchanging and it will set us free. What you may not know is that YOU CAN DO IT! It’s all in the mind. As I always say, our mind is the battleground. CONFIDENCE IN YOURSELF Failure in doing things doesn’t immediately mean you are not capable of doing better, that there is no hope. Don’t be too hard on yourself. Forgive yourself. Motivate and push yourself! God has given each one of us talents and skills. We shouldn’t depend on others for our own successes. If we make a mistake, it’s okay. Let’s learn from our mistakes, and then move on. Failure should inspire us to do better. If you don’t have confidence in yourself, how will others have confidence in you? Read More …
