DBM’s Abad sees growth pickup in third quarter

THE PHILIPPINE economy likely grew faster in the third quarter this year compared with the first six months, Department of Budget (DBM) and Management Secretary Florencio B. Abad said, with the coming holiday season and the prospect of next year’s elections expected to have driven the gains.
