Samal-Davao bridge could take 4 more years to start

DAVAO CITY — The planned bridge connecting Samal Island to the Mindanao mainland has been marked as necessary, but construction for the project first proposed in the 1990s is not likely to get under way until 2019, an official of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) said.
