Have you experienced a pain?

Have you been hurt?

How did you face it?

Did you just keep the pain to yourself, as if it didn’t happen?

If your answer is yes, why are you avoiding it? Why are you afraid to talk about it?

The pain we feel from negative experiences is like trash, no matter how we try to hide it, its stench is going to eventually come out.

If you choose to face your pain alone, there will come a time when you will break down because of the weight of the pain you bear.

Keeping everything to yourself will not help you, in fact, the more it will harm you. It may even come to the point where whatever help given or solution offered to you will be of no use anymore because it is too late.

So as early as now, do something about it and LET IT OUT.

What should we do to properly manage the pain?

ADMIT THAT YOU ARE IN PAIN

Admit that you are hurt! A WOUND CAN’T BE HEALED IF ONE ACTS LIKE IT DOESN’T EXIST.

Like what I’ve said, pretending like it didn’t happen will only make the burden heavier because you’re prolonging the agony in your heart.

Let go of it because only as you let go will you clearly see the things that you need to do.

ADMIT THAT HEALING TAKES TIME

Acknowledging the pain doesn’t necessarily mean that it will immediately go away. Healing takes time. BUT the good news is, you’re on your way there because you have taken the first step.

Enjoy the journey because in the end you’ll get to understand what really happened, why it happened to you, and how you will deal with it next time.

ADMIT THAT YOU NEED GOD

What are your fears? What are you anxious of right now? Are you afraid of not knowing what will happen in the end and that you might not be able to survive it?

STOP— you don’t need to worry about these things. All you need to do is to surrender everything to God and give your full trust in HIM at let Him take care of everything.

THINK. REFLECT. APPLY.

What are you going through right now?

Have you acknowledged the problem or are you just ignoring it?

What can you do to overcome the pain you are feeling?
