Southern poultry sector gets boost as Japan firm sets up local operation

DAVAO CITY — Japan’s firm Maruyu Co. Ltd. is looking to source poultry products from the city, starting with a partnership with Ana’s Breeders Farm, Inc. (ABFI), with plans to eventually help expand local production by introducing breeding and processing systems that meet Japanese regulatory standards.
