Gerald Anderson (MNS photo) Gerald Anderson said he is not worried about doing intimate scenes with Angelica Panganiban in a still untitled project under ABS-CBN’s film production outfit. In an interview, Anderson believes his love scenes with Panganiban will not be an issue for his girlfriend, actress Maja Salvador. “Ako before nung nagkaroon ako ng relationship I was an actor, so I’m just doing my job. Kumbaga kinuha ako ng Star Cinema to do this role. I also have the convenience that the person that I’m in a relationship with is an actress kaya nagkakaintindihan kami,” he said. Instead, Anderson said he is happy to have the chance to work with Panganiban, who is among the prized talents of ABS-CBN of this generation. “I’m just very blessed na pinili ako [ng Star Cinema]. I have a director that I’m very comfortable with, and may new leading lady,” he said. While they have no qualms about being intimate on screen, both Anderson and Panganiban admitted being only acquainted through their respective real-life partners, who were previously film co-stars. Anderson said he is looking forward to learning from the 27-year-old Panganiban, whose career as an actress spans over two decades. “First time ko rin makakasama si Angelica, at tama si Direk (Ruel Bayani), si Angelica, wala siyang hindi kayang gawin. Melai Cantiveros and Jason Francisco (MNS Photo) On-screen couple and real-life sweethearts Jason Francisco and Melai Cantiveros, popularly known as Melason, are back on primetime via the upcoming ABS-CBN series “Honesto.” In an interview with reporters, Francisco and Cantiveros said they are excited for their new project together. “Parang feeling mo palagi kapag first project mo [excited]. At siyempre ang kasamahan namin ay big stars talaga so talagang mae-excite ka,” Francisco said. “Sobrang excited. Thankful talaga kami at sinama kami dito sa [soap],” added Cantiveros, who is now four months pregnant. The couple also shared details about their wedding, which will take place in General Santos City in December. They confirmed that host-actress Kris Aquino will be one of their principal sponsors. “Part ng aming pagkakabalikan talaga yung ‘Kris TV,’” Cantiveros said of Aquino’s morning show, where she and Francisco served as guest co-hosts for a time. “Korek, love, love talaga ‘yan,” Francisco added. According to a friend of the couple, the two called it quits after just one month of dating. The friend, who refused to be named, said Derek is not yet ready to talk about the break-up, but he is doing really well right now. Speculations about the breakup began circulating online after Ramsay changed his Instagram username from “kingderekramsay” to “kidlatramsay11.” Meanwhile, from the username @QueenCKRamsay, Reyes is now using the Twitter name @AwesomeQueenCk. While Ramsay has now kept his image-sharing account private, Reyes, for her part, has not posted any picture with the actor in the past few days. Reyes and Ramsay became a couple last August 28. Prior to their relationship, the two first were tapped to play a married couple in the romance-drama film “No Other Woman” in 2011. The Kapamilya star said this after she was asked on the pregnancy of close friend and “Banana Split” co-host Melai Cantiveros, who is expecting her first child with boyfriend Jason Francisco. Angelica said it is a big responsibility and her main focus remains to be her show biz career and immediate family. “Malaking responsibilidad ‘yun and I think ‘yung ganoong mga bagay ay pinaghahandaan, pinag-iisipan, pinag paplanuhan.
