THE newest member of the Kapamilya Network, JC de Vera, is keen about having Maja Salvador, Kim Chiu, and Sarah Geronimo as his leading ladies in his future projects.

In an interview with Toni Gonazaga and Charlene Gonzales-Muhlach in The Buzz last Sunday, the Kapatid-turned-Kapamilya actor (but originally a Kapuso hunk) revealed that he finds these three girls interesting to work with because of their innate talents, like dancing.

As the 27-year-old actor mentioned the names of these girls, one thing immediately popped up in my mind — all of them have a story to share about Gerald Anderson.

Well, we know that Maja is the girlfriend of Gerald right now while Kim was the former and Sarah was “the almost”.

Still, there might not be some malice to the choices made by JC. It just simply happened that he also likes the personality of these three. Or, does it mean that his taste on women can likened to that of Gerald’s? I’m just
asking, though.

JC started his showbiz career with the Kapuso Network in 2003 where he became part of the teen-oriented show Click.

In 2010, the actor ended his six-and-a-half-year stint with GMA and signed a three-year non-exclusive tie with the Kapatid Network where he topbilled some TV series like My Driver Sweet Lover, Ang Utol Kong Hoodlum, and Valiente.

He was also a mainstay of the gag show LokoMoko U.

New teleserye JC announced that he is going to star in a teleserye alongside Angel Locsin, Jericho Rosales, and Maja.

However, JC refused to divulged further details of this project.

Apart from this soap, there are also stories going around that the new Kapamilya star will reprise the role of Captain Barbel as ABS-CBN embarks on the production of this Mars Ravelo original story.

On being a Kapamilya artist JC said it has always been his dream to be part of the Kapamilya Network.

“Naging part ng dream ko na makapasok ng ABS-CBN dahil alam kong nandito ang lahat ng mga talented,” he said.

JC said he still can’t believe that he’s now a Kapamilya star.

“Until now, overwhelmed pa rin ako. Hindi pa talaga nagsi-sink in na Kapamilya na ako. Very grateful ako na tinanggap ako ng Kapamilya Network,” he said.

The actor, who is a relative of Boots Anson-Roa (in his mother’s side) and Romeo Vasquez (in his father’s side), is determined to share every acting talent that he has in order for his projects to succeed.

“Gusto ko lang magtrabaho, ‘yon lang. Kung ‘yong tanong na ano ang edge ko, hindi ko alam. Basta gusto ko lang talagang magtrabaho,” he said.
